About INC

Identifying and helping elect innovative political leaders with a clear understanding of the importance that business plays in the Inland Northwest’s vitality and quality of life is the focus of Inland Northwest Coalition (INC), a Spokane based political action committee, formed in 2008. INC, founded by local business and civic leaders, recruits, supports, and advises Spokane area candidates who understand and appreciate the value of our free enterprise system.

"It's all about helping candidates who want to preserve a healthy business climate that creates jobs and regional prosperity," says INC chairman Robin Corkery. “We look for the best candidates---regardless of party affiliation---and provide the tools to run winning campaigns which will help everyone’s bottom line.”

INC is like a political incubator. Candidates are provided the building blocks that are necessary to run winning campaigns for local and state office. Services include training and education, fundraising strategies, promotion of affiliated candidates, and expert political advice.

INC screens, interviews and researches candidates interested in running for local office. Then, those with the best fit with the INC philosophy are offered the opportunity to affiliate with our organization.

“A healthy economy sustained by a pro-business climate is vital to making Spokane such a great place to live,” says Corkery. “We need to ensure that we find and elect smart, dedicated people who can make good public policy decisions benefitting business owners as well as their workforce and, in turn, our Spokane community."
